2005 NCMH Strategic Planning Workshop

Held in Subic, the workshop is designed to:

1)     Plan out a course of action to actualize the vision and philosophy, and acquire new relationship skills to support teammates

2)     Examine meaningful and relevant issues based on individual and team experience directed towards achieving alignment, purposes and directions

3)     Transform current team and individual paradigms toward a corporate consciousness and a focused orientation.

The facilitators from Organizational Change Consultants International (OCCI) used short lectures and group dynamics to draw out the participants. Workshop components include modules on Paradigm Shift, Appreciative Inquiry and Team Building.

The Paradigm Shift modules are directed towards creative positive mindset and learning and applying new interpersonal skills.

The Appreciative Inquiry modules are tools used in vision-mission and strategic planning sessions to draw out the strengths of the Team.

While team-building activities are geared to give participants a clearer understanding of themselves and their teammates, increase individual commitment, and improved interpersonal communications and synergy.

Thirty-six participants from the different services – Medical, Nursing and Administrative – and members of the EXECOM joined the workshop.
